We had a tiny piece of land behind the 4500 Broadway mid-century garage and finagled a two apartment affordable rental building into the space. Affordable housing should be beautiful. We think this mid-century meets industrial building designed to fit the neighborhood fits that requirement.

The white two-story building with its mint green doors and external staircase sits beautifully on the site, its rounded corners and industrial style windows paying homage to the era of the neighborhood and the vintage of its neighboring 4500 Broadway building.

The two apartments are our first affordable residential rental housing, built to provide accessibly priced housing while looking and living beautifully.  To assist the affordability of living in these apartments, we invested in rooftop solar which provides for almost all the building’s electricity usage.
