A Hidden Gem
On the back wall of the bar, you’ll see the work of PichiAvo, an artist duo from Valencia, Spain, who combine classical frescos and contemporary urban art to add an amazing backdrop and pop of pink and color to the otherwise moody space.

Inside the Project
The project developer approached the Mainspring team hoping to place a Blue Sparrow Coffee adjacent to the building’s lobby. But the dark and tucked away space was the wrong vibe for the bright and airy Blue Sparrow brand. Given carte blanche by the developer to create a new concept, we leaned into the hidden nature of the space to develop a boogie basement’esque style all day café concept, with black walls as the backdrop, jewel blue velvet oversized banquette seating, vintage leather sofas, retro speakers and the street art PichiAvo piece on one full wall.
