Room for Milly

Inspired by our travels to vibrant cocktail bars of artful cities around the world, we set out to open our very own place to lay a hat and share a carefully-crafted drink with friends. We transformed the ground floor of a Platte Street commercial building into our jewel, a world filled with conversations and stories, made more colorful by beautiful cocktails.

Elevating Denver’s Cocktail Scene
When we opened our first bar, Denver was in desperate need of an artful, eclectic cocktail scene. Though many places have since emerged, none captivate us like our Room for Milly.

A Celebration of Art & Design
Every design detail was carefully curated to encourage conversation and thought, while the art collection doubles as a gallery and features local female artists.

Inside the Project
Turning the ground floor of the Circa Building into a salon-style cocktail bar was a tall task. We transformed the entrance with full-length, velvet curtains for a moment of pause and adorned the walls with texture—wallpaper, art, and shelving—for intrigue and conversation.
